This first volume of the Catálogo Razonado y Crítico is the first truly reasoned and critical catalogue of the painter’s autobiographical work, observing a chronological order. With a particularly conscientious iconography of each canvas, a great number of the catalogue fact sheets include photographs for comparison, in addition to a comprehensive biography.

The publication also contains an innovative singularity, which resides in it including the x-ray studies carried out by the Spanish Cultural Heritage Institute, together with the different operations and restorations performed on the works.
